We design, manufacture and install signage for schools, colleges and academies across the UK, trading via schoolsign.co.uk.

• Brochure and resource downloads — if you request our brochure or another downloadable resource, we collect your name and email address to send it to you.

• Delivering a project you've commissioned (design, survey, manufacture, installation, aftercare) — performance of a contract.
• Sending a brochure or resource you've requested — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Keeping records for accounting, tax and legal compliance — legal obligation.
• Improving our website and services using anonymised, aggregate usage statistics — legitimate interest.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell your personal data to third parties.

Our website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personal data about you. Our enquiry forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam, which may set cookies and process data via Google.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We may share your data with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only to the extent necessary:

• Google (reCAPTCHA) — spam protection on our enquiry forms.
• Our email delivery provider — used to send transactional emails, such as confirming a brochure download or replying to your enquiry.
• Our website hosting provider — to securely store and serve website data.
• Installation and delivery partners — where necessary to complete a signage project you've commissioned, and only with the details required for that purpose.

We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We keep enquiry and project data for as long as necessary to deliver our services and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations — typically up to 6 years after our last dealings with you, in line with standard UK record-keeping requirements — after which it is securely deleted or anonymised. Brochure download details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
